April is National Poetry Month
Every year, the Academy of American Poets runs a Poem-A-Day, which you can subscribe to for free by hitting their site. Being a writer of poetry myself, this kind of attention to the creative process, as well to the details of living, is exciting & often unique in a world so concerned with the bottom-line (just cash).

It's funny to see this post made so long ago. 2 more annual Poetry Months have risen past the high water mark & submerged me entirely. The bubbles you see are artifical and made of the same chemicals that are attempting to force the crude oil gusher back down into the pipe of defunct BP's Deepwater Horizon before cement can be poured over it to secure its stopage. 2 years & we are returned to another emergency in Louisiana.
