false & unreal
false & unreal
There is heavy tapping on
this rooftop while I wonder
if electricity will hold.
As I consider, I have already
wandered off in dark to where
flashlight dwells.
Already I have imagined
myself as blind man,
suddenly devoid of sight,
with world open to me
only by touch & sound.
I do this while rain
shortens & I am still in
well lit house.
How easy it is to let go
of now & be lost
in somewhere
false & unreal.
